Position yourself in your practice as a remote manager

  • Identify the different roles of the remote manager: motivate, accompany, encourage, gather, negotiate, manage, evaluate
  • Clarify the role and missions of each
  • Analyze the profile of the remote employee and adapt his management
  • Practice management styles according to the context: from the directive style to the delegative style
  • Identify the causes of (lack of) motivation due to remote work.
  • Tactfully manage by objectives and set realistic and motivating objectives with the remote employee
  • Practice delegation: communicate it, set it up, follow it and secure it despite the distance
